Love and Sacrifice is a movement born in the heart of area youth pastors to connect our ministries with local communities in our city! (Wilmington, NC) Our first community we are connecting with is Greenville Village located off Greenville Loop Rd. There are tons of cool families here that we are in contacti with and are seeking to bless and connect with in the name of Christ. We have "done" several events at this community to help us get to know each other. We've done cookouts, kids games, surveys and have hung out with several teens from the area to see how we could best meet the needs of our neighbors.

Our next get together is an event planned on December 3rd at 10am. The event will last until 2pm and involves several different aspects of interaction including;

• Sports -- We will be playing soccer in the back of the Wilmington Friends School soccer field. We will be joing the kids from Greenville Village in a competitive game of soccer! Bring your best smile and your best game! We will also have other activities like Corn Hole, Dodge Ball, tug-of-war, potato sack races and more. The goal of these games are for the student ministries to get to know the families from Greenville Village.
• Small Groups -- Students from various youth groups will team up into small groups with kids from Greenville Village, go over a short Bible Study have a time of response to whats' been presented, offer encouragement and love in the name of Jesus and answer any questions that may arise. Training for these groups is mandatory for students in any youth group participating. See your youth pastor for more details.
• Food -- We will have a HUGE party cookout in the Commons area inside Greenville Village after small groups and sports, just to hang with the families from Greenville Village. Exciting prizes will also be given away to the families!
• Worship -- A Youth Praise Team will lead worship as well as other students participating in various aspects of worship (Scripture Reading, Prayer, testimony, etc) Fun!!! This is all about Jesus and is all about fun! We want to have fun with our neighbors from Greenville Village and to love them in the name of Jesus and to share His love with them in creative and fun ways.
