Established in 2001, Firehouse Student Ministries of Pine Valley Baptist Church consists of three separate departments:
 - Middle School (Grades 6-8)
 - High School (Grades 9-12)
 - College and Career (Ages 18-24)

Prayer



Prayer is an integral part to our lives and ministry.  We are experiencing God in a tremendous way as He uses prayer to shape us into His will for our lives.  Prayer is more than an ritual that we say before a meal or before a big game.  Prayer is us having the opportunity to have direct access to God's ear.  Anytime we get together, we are sure to make prayer a part of our meetings.  We understand that if we tell somone, "We will pray for you.", God holds us accountable for that.  In recent days we have seen God do things in this ministry that can be attributed to nothing other than God's hand. 
  • 1 John 5:14-15 - 14 And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
  • Philippians 4:6-7 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
